The Service is run by doctors and nurses with expertise in epilepsy. We provide epilepsy care to children and young people.
The service works with children and young people living in Northumberland and North Tyneside who have had a seizure-like event and need assessment, and children and young people with a diagnosis of epilepsy.
Our team includes paediatricians with a special interest in epilepsy and epilepsy specialist nurses.
Referrals are accepted from GPs, and paediatricians who work in the community and emergency department.
Your first appointment will be with a consultant or a paediatric epilepsy specialist nurse.
