Nominations for candidates to stand for the council of governor elections open on Tuesday 16 April 2024 and close on 15 May.

We have vacancies in the following public constituencies this year:

  • North West Tyneside
  • Wansbeck
  • Wallsend
  • North Shields
  • Whitley Bay
  • Rest of England

We also have vacancies in the following staff constituencies this year:

  • Alnwick Infirmary/ Rothbury
  • Morpeth and Blyth
  • Wansbeck Hospital
  • North Tyneside General Hospital (including Cobalt and Manufacturing hub)
  • The Northumbria
  • North Tyneside community
  • Northumberland community
