Emergency department

We have vulnerable patients and those whose immune systems are compromised in our hospitals. 

We need to protect these patients and others, so, we are asking everyone (staff, patients and visitors) to wear masks in our emergency department and urgent treatment centres.

We are also reminding those who feel unwell to please avoid coming into our hospitals at this time.

If this isn't possible, please wash your hands on entering the hospital, wear a mask at all times and avoid touching your mask. If you need to adjust your mask, please wash or gel your hands immediately afterwards.
