Our Intermediate Care Unit provides 24 hour qualified nursing and specialist therapy in a safe and relaxed environment.

What to expect

You will have your own room and communal social spaces. Specialist staff will work with you, your family and / or carers to design a package of support tailored to your needs and requirments focusing on helping you return home as soon as you are able.

What to bring with you

During your stay you will need the usual items you would take for a short break, such as:

  • Nightclothes, day clothes and well-fitting footware
  • Toiletries
  • Any medications you are taking, including any prescriptions or over the counter medicines
  • Spectacles and any walking or hearing aids and dentures
  • Proof of exemption for your prescriptions and proof of identification for collecting certain medicines, if appropriate
  • Books or magazines

By road

From the A1, exit onto the Morepth Northern Bypass and continue towards the A197. When you near the roundabout, prepare to take the forth exit towards Morpeth, joining the B1337. Continue down and you will see the sign for the carehome on the right. Head up the hill and you will arrive.

By bus

The closest train station is Morpeth.

Car parking is available on site.

You will have your own room with en-suite toilet, and communal social spaces.
