Our Intermediate Care Unit provides 24 hour qualified nursing and specialist therapy in a safe and relaxed environment.

What to expect

You will have your own room and communal social spaces. Specialist staff will work with you, your family and / or carers to design a package of support tailored to your needs and requirments focusing on helping you return home as soon as you are able.

What to bring with you

During your stay you will need the usual items you would take for a short break, such as:

  • Nightclothes, day clothes and well-fitting footware
  • Toiletries
  • Any medications you are taking, including any prescriptions or over the counter medicines
  • Spectacles and any walking or hearing aids and dentures
  • Proof of exemption for your prescriptions and proof of identification for collecting certain medicines, if appropriate
  • Books or magazines

From the A1058 (Coast Road), join the A186 (Station Road) heading south. Take the first right onto Dorset Avenue and continue down that road until you reach the West Street junction. Turn left onto West Street and continue down the road for 0.2miles and you will see Hadrian House on the left.
