Staff are getting their blood pumping for a fun Halloween competition

A group of people in fancy dress holding hula hoops. It's night time.

With the spookiest night of the year just around the corner, Bright Northumbria, in collaboration with the staff wellbeing team, have launched a fun competition for staff – #NorthumbriaFitnessGhouls.

The competition encourages staff and their little monsters to get moving through the week of 26th October to 1st November and bring out the devil in them to challenge themselves and those they live with to wear their spookiest costumes and do something active.

Being active is great for mind, body and soul. So, whether staff want to do a workout in their haunted house or go for a walk or a run out on the spooky streets, taking part in this challenge is a great way to help raise their spirits and get their blood pumping.

To enter the competition and be in with the chance of winning a prize, staff should post their pictures on our staff Facebook group or send them to Brightcharity@northumbria.nhs.ukby 10am on Monday 2 November. Winners will be picked at random and announced on Monday 2 November.

We can’t wait to see the pictures.

Have fun, here’s to good health and hallo-wellbeing!
