Learning Disability Week - Susan

I joined the team 8 years ago as a bank admin, and have never left, I have progressed though the team doing a variety of admin roles, and I am now the learning disability support manager for the community learning disability team.

Part of my role is to manage the small but extremely busy excellent admin team who are the heart of our amazing service. I also screen all the referrals that come into the team prior to discussion at our multi-disciplinary team meeting. I am responsible for the data collection within the entire team which evidences all the hard work our clinicians do.

Community admin for a learning disability team is a busy, challenging, but varied role. I love my job, and the people I work with – they all make a difference in peoples’ lives within our community and I am very proud to be a part of that.
