Our speech and language therapy service for adults provides a range of support if you have communication and/or swallowing problems. These can develop due to conditions such as strokes, Parkinson’s, cancer and dementia. We also have specialist services to help if you have a stammer and if you have a learning disability.

Your care

Our speech and language therapists can see you in a number of locations including outpatient clinics in our general and community hospitals, nursing and residential homes and in your own home.  We will carry out an assessment with you and develop a tailored programme of support and therapy.
