Our tissue viability nurses provide advice, education and support to patients on the prevention and management of complex wounds which may have resulted from pressure sores, an accident or fall. We also offer advice on specialist equipment to prevent the development of ulcers and specialist therapies to treat wounds.

You should talk to your GP or district nurse who can refer you to this service for treatment. The service covers Northumberland and North Tyneside.

We offer treatment at home for housebound patients, or at our complex wound clinic at Seaton Park Primary Care Centre (address below).
