NHS staff, governors and members of the trust and local residents are invited to find out more about the work of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust at its Annual Members’ Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 14 July 2021

At the meeting senior members of the trust will report on the last year, note achievements, highlight lessons learned and outline the vision for the future.

This year’s AGM will be held between 5-6:30pm via Microsoft Teams. If you would like to attend the meeting you can email foundation@northumbria.nhs.ukfor the link, and you can find the agenda here.

Chairman Alan Richardson said:

“As a public service we take transparency very seriously and our AGM is an important part of that. The past year has been incredibly challenging for our staff and our local communities alike. I would like to encourage anyone who lives locally to attend our virtual AGM to understand more about the excellent work – both in hospital and in the community – that our staff have done over the past year in very challenging circumstances. As always, their resilience, compassion and professionalism has shone through and I thank them for that.

“The AGM will also provide an overview of our performance for the last year and will give us the opportunity to share our plans, opportunities and potential challenges for the year ahead – always with the focus of having the best interests of our patients, staff and communities at the centre of all we do.”

Northumbria Healthcare covers one of the largest geographical areas in the country and provides hospital and community services across North Tyneside and Northumberland.

If you would like to attend our AGM, please RSVP by emailing foundation@northumbria.nhs.uk.
