Sometimes our mouths get a little left out. We are regularly reminded to check certain parts of our bodies for any differences….but what about our mouths?

When was the last time you checked your mouth?

We should all regularly check the inside of our mouths for any lumps, bumps, red or white patches, sores or ulcers. You can’t always feel these problems/they aren’t always obvious.

Mouth cancer is a disease that affects men and women of all ages. Because there is a link between detection and prognosis, it’s really important that you report any symptoms really early.

Mouth cancer, also known as oral cancer, describes one of the areas where head and neck cancers can occur and includes various kinds of tumours affecting the lips, salivary glands, tongue, gums, palate and inside of the cheeks.
