Our Sexual Health Training and C-Card Training is aimed at anyone who works with people between the ages of 13-24, and is looking to provide C-Cards, condoms, and information on Sexual Health Services.
Training Insight / Learning Outcomes:
Introduction to Sexual Health training course will give you a basic insight into:
➢ Services available
➢ Contraception
➢ Infections and prevention
C- card session learning outcomes will include:
➢ Overview of sex and the law, relating to young people and Fraser Guidelines
➢ An overview of products available via the C-Card Scheme
➢ To understand the C-Card programme and scheme requirements for its implementation throughout Northumberland
➢ Chlamydia/Gonorrhoea screening processes
➢ To know where to signpost for other Sexual Health Services

PrEP Awareness Week (27th November)
PrEP helps to prevent the spread of HIV from one person to another through sex.
It is a pill that protects someone who is HIV negative but at increased risk of HIV through sex. It is a course of tablets that are taken before and after sex.

C-Card stands for Condom Card.
It is a free and confidential service offering condoms to young people aged 13-24, regardless of gender or sexuality.
C-Card is available at a variety of venues across North Tyneside and Northumberland.
