Teardrop to host annual Christmas fair
A Christmas fair to support a charity which helps parents and families bereaved by miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death takes place in North Shields on Saturday 26 November.
The annual fair, organised by the Teardrop Support Group, will take place 10am-12pm at St Hilda’s Church, Marden Estate, North Shields NE29 9QB.
There is a £1 entry fee which includes a complimentary tea or coffee and mince pie. The fair will contain some stalls including crafts, books, raffle, tombola, a children’s stand and also a visit from Santa.
Teardrop supports bereaved parents and families across North Tyneside and Northumberland who have suffered a loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or termination of pregnancy because of foetal abnormality.
It operates in association with Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, which manages hospital and community services in North Tyneside and hospital, community services and adult social care in Northumberland.
