North Tyneside Integrated Musculoskeletal Service (NTIMS)

If you have a musculoskeletal problem, such as back and joint pain, our North Tyneside Integrated Musculoskeletal Service (NTIMS) can help you manage your condition in the most effective way.

We will support you through self management and investigate and treat your condition where appropriate.

Musculoskeletal conditions include spinal pain, sciatica, degenerative joint conditions, soft tissue problems and persistent musculoskeletal pain conditions. Your treatment will vary depending on your condition but may include self-care advice, exercise therapy, manual therapy, soft tissue and joint injection therapy or pain management strategies.

You will have an assessment and be given the appropriate care and treatment for you. This could be musculoskeletal physiotherapy or assessment by an Advanced Musculoskeletal Practitioner (GP or Specialist Physiotherapist).
