This year the Simonside Country Fair raised over £5,000. On Sunday 17th November, the organising committee presented cheques to support a number of local charities and organisations, including a generous donation of £500 to the Special Care Baby Unit at Wansbeck General Hospital which was presented to Brenda Longstaff, the trust’s charity manager.
