Festive cheer from our doctors
Doctors swapped the wards for the stage this week spreading festive cheer at Hexham General Hospital.
Five junior doctors formed a choir and sang Christmas songs and numbers from the musicals at the hospital’s grand piano.
And they went down a treat with patients, visitors and staff.
The choir was the idea of Dr Chris Moss who spent four months working at the Hexham hospital as part of his training. He recently moved to the Trust’s Wansbeck General Hospital.
Dr Moss said said: “We knew that we all were musical so we thought it would be a good idea to get together and put on a show just for Christmas.
“It was lovely to see the patients and visitors enjoying the music and we had a great time too.”
There’s lots more going on around the Trust as part of our Christmas events programme. For further information read here.
