Primary care access centre
If you cannot get an appointment with your GP, or if you do not think your condition is serious enough to need a visit to the GP then you can go to the primary care access centre to be treated by a nurse practitioner for a range of minor injuries and illnesses.
This service also offers a prescription service for minor injuries and illnesses. However, if you want a repeat prescription, or if you have a chronic (long-term) condition it is best to contact your GP.

You can be seen at the centre for:
- coughs, colds and flu
