Continence (bladder and bowel problems)

The North Tyneside continence service provides assessment for both children and adults with bladder or bowel problems. 

The service aims to help and support you as much as possible whilst you are dealing with incontinence. We also run a home delivery service which provides continence products direct to your home.

You can be referred to the service by your GP, a school health advisor or a district nurse. 

Your care 

If you have bladder or bowel needs and require advice or help from a trained nurse or specialist you can receive this service in your own home, if you are house bound, in a care home or within a clinic or GP surgery.
